Schedule Contacts My Membership eNewsletter Business Directory Events -- Houstonian Club Closure Update 4.17.2020 : Dear Houstonian Club Members, We hope you had a great week and are enjoying the beautiful spring weather with your families and loved ones even if it is through virtual means. This past week, we began working on our plan for reopening the Club so we are ready when Governor Abbott gives the executive order for health clubs to reopen. ’s program directors and managers are hard at work constructing social distancing and sanitation plans for all areas of the Club. Meanwhile, our wonderful facilities and engineering teams continue to complete improvement projects, deep clean all areas of the Club and beautify the campus for your return. We are working closely with Dr. Edward Septimus, Infectious Disease Specialist at Memorial Hermann Hospital on our sanitation practices, safety measures and protocols. Dr. Septimus has been a Member of our Club since 1990 and has extensive knowledge of the coronavirus and consulted with our campus leaders during the SARS outbreak in 2002. Our Director of Facilities, Greg Branum, who has worked at several premier resorts around the nation and has been with our company for the last 18 years was instrumental in deploying the Bio-Safe patented technology processes in our highest-traffic areas of the Club and our property before we closed. Greg continues to lead our team of highly qualified engineers, trained to implement the Bio-Safe technology in the sanitation process of every inch of our building. For more information on Bio-Safe please click here . Our club executive team has been meeting weekly with health clubs similar to ours from around the world. Many of these clubs are in the parts of the world that have reopened and have made adaptations in their programming and safety measures to safeguard their members from the coronavirus. We value your feedback most importantly so we will be asking for your help while we are closed and preparing for our reopening. Therefore we will be sending out a brief survey next week asking you how we can improve our cleaning and sanitation services when you return to the Club. Thank you in advance for completing this very brief survey. We will be reading ALL of your feedback, but may not be able to reply to everyone as we do with our normal survey.
